Isla de Salsa
If you missed the Isla this year at Momochi then you really missed out! Saturday was great and its too bad Sunday was cancelled ;( Amazing collection of bands and shows, the Brazilians were unstoppable!!A pricey event but well worth it!

今年の百道でisla見逃したら残念ですーー素晴らしかった!ラーテン系などなバンドやショーは凄い盛り上がってた。高い切符だったけど夏の一番楽しい行くはずイベントだ。

Australia Day 2008
Aussie Day 2008 went off without a hitch. Off Broadway was busting at the seems with a beer-drinking, Aussie-eating energetic crew. Dave Nann played DJ all night with an All Aussie medley. Four hours of games, chatting and fun made this a very successful evening. Congrats to Dave for doing such a wonderful job organizing. Aussie Day in Fukuoka is now officially an annual event. Have a peek at the pics.

Endless Summer 07
It's not often you see people doning cowboy hats line dancing in Fukuoka. In fact, I believe Endless Summer 07 at the Hard Rock Cafe was the first time for many of us. Local legends, Kenny's Band and Jacky's Band kept the over 200 toe tappin Fukuokaites literally on their toes (and heels) reminding us that Country music and Old Time Rock n Roll are still alive and well. Congrats to Amuse for yet another successful event. Have a peek at our pics.

Isla de Salsa 07
Well it's easy to see how this is considered one of the best and biggest parties of the summer. Entertainers from around the globe and Japan entertained a crowd of over 1000 on two stages. A variety of food, drinks and people made this party a huge success. Congratulations to Santiago and the entire Tiempo staff for once again pulling off such an amazing 2 day extravaganza. Looking forward to next year. Have a look at our pics.

One Love Island Jam 2007
Couldn't have been a more perfect day. The sun was shining, the music was jammin and everyone had a great time. Amazing variety of food and drinks along with just good fun. Congratulations goes out to Amuse for creating such an amazing event. So many more to come. www.amuse-me.net. Have a look at our awesome pictures. Congrats to Paul, Rieko and Antony for winning the KC One Love Tickets.

International Singles Party
Over 100 people headed to Propeller Drive Saturday night in the hopes of meeting new people. English/Japanese quizzes, great food, and good company made this night a success. Congrats to the US Nationality Group, especially Emiko, for making this night such a success. They plan on organizing more events, so stay tuned so you don't miss the next one. Have a look at the KC photos.

KC 2 Year Anniversary Party
Thanks to so many of our members and friends, the KC 2 Anniversary Party was our best to date. With close to 300 guests (sorry to those of you who couldn't get in), eating, drinking and dancing, we couldn't go wrong. A big thank you to La Boheme Qualita for creating a lovely atmosphere. Thanks also to Soul Fries band and our DJs Jay and Major for getting us boogying. A very special thank you to Major, the man who read our minds and did exactly what was needed to make the event spectacular. Love ya, babe!!! Congrats to Jessica Frey for winning the Weekend Getaway to Nagasaki provided by Solare Hotels and Foreign Travel. Of course the party continued to the wee hours of the night at The Dark Room, Fubar and Off Broadway. Nice to see so many people dressed up making the occasion even more special. Not sure how we'll top it next year! But we'll try! Take a look at the pics!

KC Dinner
20 or so KC members ventured over to Ashok's Bar in Fukuoka for a lovely buffet Nepalese dinner, great conversation and fun times. Lots of new members joined and had a chance to meet some old timers. Ashok outdid himself with a buffet including his famous curry, tandoori chicken, Nepalese gyoza, salad and more. After two hours of "all you can eat and drink" we headed over to Arena to burn off some calories. Fun night had by all. Sorry to those stuck at the kids table. (-: Check out the fotos.

St. Paddy's Madness
Happy Cock knows how to throw a hell of a great St. Patrick's Day Bash. Hundreds of folks turned up wearing green, drinking green beer and dancing all night. 40 or so KC members popped over to wish KC Chris a Happy Birthday. Thanks to all of you who made him do shots. We accomplished our goal. A very special thanks to Jack's Happy Cock crew. We definitely felt like VIPs for the night. A great time!!!! Have a look at our pics.

KC Dinner & Dancing
Saturday night was sizzlin at Club Arena. KC members ventured over for a delicious buffet dinner prepared by Chef Aldo. Although for some, dancing the merengue was a first, the dance floor was hopping during Masa's lesson and for the rest of the evening when DJ Franklyn kept our feet movin. A special thanks to the Arena staff for making us feel so welcome. Check out our photos. It's a good thing Shogo isn't camera shy!

KC Dinner under the Stars
Dining outside in November has never been nicer. A KC crowd ventured over to Cafe Tattoo on Saturday night. Two hours of dining, drinking and chatting was a great way to start off the evening. Special thanks to the Tattoo staff, especially Kazu who was patient and put up with us. The crowed headed to Off Broadway from there and topped off the night at Fubar. Great time everyone. Looking forward to the next time!!!

Endless Summer Fever 05
Another great time had by all. Fever rocked the Hard Rock House and close to 350 guests got a chance to get away from the usual Oyafuko area. Luis and the gang once again showed us how to party in style. Local DJs kept guests dancin to 3:00 a.m. Big thanks to the Hard Rock Staff - experts in their field. A great way to end the summer and get ready for the holiday season! Aweseome party. Check out our pics.

Isle de Salsa
Well, the rain didn't scare away the diehard Salsa dancers. Two days of crazy weather only inspired partiers to have a better time. Starting Saturday afternoon and ending Sunday night, the several thousand guests were entertained with music, dance, food and fun. It's not often we get a chance to see true professionals at their craft. Congrats to Tiempo for a wonderful event. You really pulled it off!!!

KC ONE YEAR
The KC 1 Year Anniversary Party held on Saturday, August 13 at Sam & Dave was a huge success. Hundreds of people danced to the sounds of our great DJ, Joe, won free shots playing trivia games, watched in awe at the Tiempo Iberoamercano Dance Performances, and won some great prizes. KC Dinner
On Friday, May 27, 35 KC members headed over to Sancho Panza Spanish Restaurant for dinner, drinks and fun. A delicious dinner complemented by wonderful wine, interesting conversation and "getting to know you" activites made this a fantastic KC event. Spanish guitarist, Jony, entertained us with music just soft enough to not interrupt conversation, but loud enough to get our toes tappin. A big thanks to Santiago, Tanami and Nami for their friendly service and patience. Congratulations to Amelia and Gee for winning the 4Cs game. Enjoy the Spanish wine. Be sure to join next time.

The weather gods were with us on Sunday. Perfect weather for kickin back and listening to some amazing reggae music or rippin up the dirt with your dance moves. Allen, congratulations on such a wonderful day. Thank you to all of KC sponsors who donated prices for the KC Giveaway - Voodoo, Sam & Dave, Off Broadway, Alohana and Arena. Concert on the Rock 2
Well, they did it again. Two fabulous days of live music, relaxing and fun. Great music, food, beer and giveaways made this Nakatsu, Oita event a huge success. Big thanks to Rich for organizing and to Tropicoco, Avon Drinks, and La Oriental for donating prizes for KC members. A warm welcome to our newest members. We're looking forward to next year!!

Kokusai Shinenkai Tsunami Relief
A special warmth filled the Okura Hotel's Mayfair room on January 28, during FEPC's "Kokusai Shinenkai of Hope." Warmth circulated, touched, and bound 112 guests from 15 countries. All joined together in a common cause of charity, to assist the Fukuoka UN-habitat office in their efforts to provide relief to survivors of the Indian Ocean the tsunami. A spectacular Fukuoka Event. The Shinenkai raised 1.025 million yen in ticket sales, and corporate donations. After expenses were paid, 702,150 yen or 68% of the total was donated to the UN-Habitat on February 9, 2005. Thanks to the Fukuoka Community for participating and the FEPC for organizing such a wonderful event.

Voodoo Gig
You simply can't go wrong when you combine good music, good friends and crazy dancing. That was the theme at Voodoo Lounge, Fukuoka, Friday the 28th. Seems that Nanjinbin from Nakatsu and Dave Taylor and the Lights Out from Fukuoka are becoming the traveling two-some, but let's not forget our guests, Trouble Tribe Japan who traveled down from Osaka for the night. A big thank you to Tim Ashton for organizing a wonderful Fukuoka event and of course Katsu and the Voodoo staff. Hats off to all of you!!!!!

Dinner at Izakaya Matt's
Fifteen KC members headed over to Izakaya Matt's in Kego for a night of good food, wonderful atmosphere and great conversation. We all had a chance to get to know each other a little better by revealing one "unique secret" about ourselves. Hmm, who do you think "likes to be naked"? See what you missed!!! Don't miss the next one. We'll let you know soon. Thanks to Matt for making it a memorable evening! Stop in and see him sometime.

One Night In Nakatsu
Well, The Live to end all Lives. Starting around 6:00 pm and going to the wee hours, 10 bands rocked three different venues (Tropicoco, 1 or 8 and Firehouse) The Indoors got the crowd warmed up. Nanbanjin showed off their new uniforms. Fukuoka's very own Dr. Funkenstein turned the crowd into body slammin animals. And to prove that the night was a huge success, Dave Taylor and his crew were shut off abruptly by the Nakatsu police but not before getting everyone movin and shakin. Nakatsu has found a place on the Kyushu map! A rockin Oita event.
